My 10 year old granddaughter Isabella has Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. She's on 6 medications, 3 by injections. About a month ago Isabella's Mother started her on a gluten-free diet in hopes that this will help her arthritis. Last week Isabella went to her rheumatologist and the rheumy said she sees improvement in Isabella. She said but lets see how her blood results turn out. Well, the blood work is in and it was good! The best it's been yet. Isabella says she feels much better too. She's lost 2 pounds and grown 1" in a month. She's grown 3" since Jan..She is turning into such a little lady. I'm thrilled about this news. Now if only she could be taken off all these medications! Thank you God :-}
Oh Mary Dear:
ReplyDeleteI am so happy for Isa!!! Please try the Quinoa, as it is kind of like cous cous. I love it. It is totally gluten free and you can make it so many different ways.
I will be back in a day and a half. Glad you received your card : )
Love & Big Hugs!!!

She is just so cute! I hate that kids have to suffer in any way. I'm so happy this is working and hope she continues to get better!
ReplyDeleteWe did a gluten free year for my husband after getting a wrong diagnosis...shocked to find out wheat is in many odd things like Tylenol, toothpaste and sheetrock!
Isa is special. Clean feet at her age : ) Mine were always dirty : )
