~Pink Saturday~my Sourthen Belle pillowcases~

Welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly.
Today I'm showing off my pink Southern Belle pillowcases..
I've hand embroider them.
I found the unfinished pillowcases at a thrift shop for $2.00.
How I love to embroider!
My Italian Grandmother Lena taught me how to embroider
when I was 8 years old, it's stuck with me all these years.
Happy Pink Saturday!
~Mary~

  7. Mary I need to come back and have a serious look around. What a wonderful blog.

Thank you for putting me in your prayers Mary. I appreciate and believe in them.

Mary, I would like to transport that whole bed and bedding set, actually just send me the room with the pink pillowcases. My granddaughter is going to be 2 and she would love it. No, really, though it is gorgeous.

On a serious note, I saw that your daughter has passed on. I am sorry. Very sorry.

    Love Renee

  24. Mary:
The pillow cases are absolutely gorgeous!!!
The room is so beautiful. Whenever I finally settle down; maybe when I turn 60; I will have a red and/or green day or better "a jewel tone day." You know, I do not think I have anything pink anymore; no fabric or anything : ) I guess I am not a pink person
    : )
Thank goodness you are my friend regardless : )
    Peace
