~It's party time! "Where bloggers create"

Welcome to my studio
It's where I work and create!
***
Thanks Karen from My Desert Cottage
for letting me join in on all the fun!
Many projects
have been made at this table
I find that having things where I can get at them
is very important
so my studio is cluttered
but most everything I need is close at hand!
my ugly but functional desk...

my old commercial Pfaff sewing machine

I made these barkcloth pockets
to hold a bit of everything
mainly cards from my blogging friends

a few paper projects

One of my vintage cupboards
it's holds/hides
just some of my fabric

My "friends" banner made
by a blogging friend

My sink and cupboards...
come in very handy

my favorite little sewing machine.. works great!

a bit of fabric

just a few jars of my button collection

Thanks for stopping by!

Love the old dinosaur of a machine. I too have one and wouldn't trade it for the world. I have three others I can use but can count on one time how many times I have.

Love the window curtains. GORGEOUS FABRIC!!! Your whole room is so comfortable. Nicely done.

  20. Mary, is that a Singer Featherweight? I have one, my father bought it for my mother when she was expecting me. She used it to sew her maternity clothes and my baby clothes. She passed it on to me (after she used it for 50 years).

I could just camp out in your studio...love it!

  41. Hello,

Your studio is lovely! I collect vintage fabrics and I see that barkcloth and I see that old chenille. :0) I love the barkcloth pocket organizer..that's really sweet. Which Singer is that? Does it have the "coffin" cover or a square cover? I've got a Singer Featherweight 221 that I adore along with my Babylock electronic one...one that sews can never have too much fabric or too many machines, right!?

Please drop by to see my "studio in progress". I've just recently moved into my home and I'm almost 3 months into remodeling! I'm getting there though. :0)

    Hope to see you!
    Stephanie

  44. A SINK? You have a sink?? What a luxury to have a wash-up area right in the studio!

By the way, my mom has a collection of those budoir chairs (like the one at your "ugly" ((not)) desk. She's always picking them up and recovering them. Yours is in amazing condition. And of course I love all your roses!
