Today I made this slipcover for my foot stool.. Love the white! Thinking about having a "White Christmas" this year... looks like I better get busy.. Hugs to you sweet friends!
Hi Darling Mary Rose: Beautiful!!! White Christmas sounds lovely!!! Will you use gold or silver accents? Did you use your Johnson's ruffler for the ruffle? Have a great day; you must be busy since Amy's computer crashed : ( I will e-mail later love carole
Oh how I envy those who can sew!!! The slipcover is just beautiful and I think a white christmas is a wonderful idea, I can only imagine the amazing projects you would create!!
Very beautiful!!! You did a super job! It would not be practical in my home with a 9 year old very active and messy little boy. I would have to put some barbed wire and alarms around it and a sign reading "for display only!" I would have the washing machine working overtime if not.
I often wish I could have an all white room. I will enjoy yours through your blog!!! Amy
I, too, wish I could have an all white room - and I will one day, dangnabit! But I tell you what, white kitchen cupboards are for the birds, I've discovered. I'll trade my cupboards for your footstool!
Anyway, I do like the sounds of a white and sparkling Christmas! I think I may follow suite and do a naturally neutrally glam one, hehe. (Or as glam as I can muster up in my non-glam style)
Thank you, Mary, for your sweet words to my pumpkin-nest post. I hope this week is much calmer for the world...
Lovely cover. Aren't white Christmases gorgeous!? I'm new to your blog, but had to be a "follower." What a wonderland you offer us. Love it! I'll be back.... :]
Hi My Friend: Come over when you have time and pick up the award I am passing on to you. You do not have to list the 7 things if you do NOT have time. Just take the most deserving appreciation I have of you. hugs carole
Hi Sweet Mary, Ohhhhh your footstool looks absolutely gorgeous, you did such a beautiful job on it!!! A white Christmas sounds so wonderful and will be perfect for your charming cottage!! I’m so sorry I haven’t stopped by your blog in a while. I am so behind on everything lately. My Mom’s illness has been tearing me up inside and I just feel so sad a lot of the time. Please know that I think of you often and keep you in my prayers. Thank you so much for forwarding the emails to me…I always love to hear from you dear Mary. Sending you lots of love & hugs, Carol Anne :)
Mary, love the stool. I too would like a White Christmas, but with snow. I can't wait, because Donnie will be coming in from NYC. What a great Christmas gift. I am usually finished decorating by now, but haven't even started. Miss you and thanks for the wonderful message. Please tell Carole(a Bohemian Market) that I can't get to her blog. Love, hugs, and prayers. Pat
Beautiful! Love the lace accents.
