How to make vintage Christmas sweater stockings

 Easy to make sweater stockings:

Buy a vintage sweater or 2 at a thrift, found mine at Goodwill for $1.
Lay out a pattern on the best part of your sweater.
Cut one front, one back, using a pattern like one shown above.
If you do use pattern above make it longer.
Pin together make sure front or outside of fabrics are facing each other.
Slowly sew around, the bumpy sweater fabric can catch in your machine.
Now have fun!

Just thought I'd give an update on how Isabella my granddaughter is doing.
She suffers from JRA ..has had 2 surgeries.
She just turned 15 is a Freshman in high school.
 I'm so proud of her!
She's in all honor classes has a 4. grade point average
is secretary of student council, in choir, on the swim team, plays soft ball.
In many other clubs.
What both she & I are most proud of
is that she's on the varsity cross country team!
Yes she's a runner.. .
This is a child that the doctors said
probably would never be able run or do sports.
Thank you and God Bless Bella!
