~My wicker suitcase~

Go visit my friend Mary of Crash-n-Smash blog.

She recovered the insides of her vintage suitcases, they are lovely!

Well she wanted to see one of my suitcases..

So here it is.

Not as nice as Mary's but will just have to do LOL...

It's a bit tricky working with wicker.

Had to use tiny nails to put keep the lining in place.

My spray glue plugged up so I 

had to use white glue, not as easy....

it was very messy messy messy!

OK Mary hope you approve of this suitcase :-}

~Meet Spike~

Meet Spike.. he's Samuel's new puppy.

Samuel & Dad surprised the family with him today.

He's an 8 week old Lab mix puppy. Sam named him.

What a cutie he is!

Today is my Grandson Samuel's 8th birthday.

He was to have his first big birthday party

with his friends at "Laser Quest" this afternoon..

he was really looking forward to it.

Because of our huge snow storm the party was cancelled.

It will be rescheduled soon.

~I'm sure he'll still have a fun birthday~

I have lived here in my cottage for 24 years now

this is the worst snow storm I've seen so far..

We are to get more snow today and tomorrow.

I hope to try and shovel myself out sometime today..LOL..

for now I'm stuck in here

My Grandson Samuel will be 8 on Sunday.. we had a small family party for him last night.

He wanted a Wii Guitar hero.

we all got together & bought him 1 new one & 1 used one..

The little guy was so thrilled and very grateful too!

We all had so much fun playing with the Guitars..

Isa & Sam were so good at it, we adults were awful.

Oh what a fun evening we all had!

They must be wrong it's GEORGEOUS here time is 10:30 am (EST)... sunny no wind..

What a difference a few days make..

As you can see by the split photos, the snow is melting here at my cottage.

My sweet friend "Spring" will be stopping by for a short visit today,

high will be 61..

Tomorrow it will be in the 30s.
