~My Victorian paper Ice Skates~

 I love these paper ice skates.. I used Anaglypta wallpaper to give these skates a delightful vintage Victorian look. For the blades I used my Grandmothers antique German glass glitter.. Fun decoration for Christmas tree, packages, cards, scrap booking, or Altered art.. The size of each skate is approximately 7 by 8-1/2".. Thanks so much! ~Mary~ :-}

Mary I adore these skates - and love Anaglypta - have it below the chair rail in my dining room and have painted over it several times when redecorating!!

You must be busy with all this designing for the Holidays - you are so talented. I'm trying to make time for the studio - I need to create something - I just can't catch up because I'm homesick! Going home always does this to me - so hard to get back on track.

Oh well, taking Jasmin to the beach this weekend - perhaps the sea air will inspire me - but then I look across the pond toward England and wish I was back again!
