~My wicker suitcase~

Go visit my friend Mary of Crash-n-Smash blog.
She recovered the insides of her vintage suitcases, they are lovely!
Well she wanted to see one of my suitcases..
So here it is.
Not as nice as Mary's but will just have to do LOL...
It's a bit tricky working with wicker.
Had to use tiny nails to put keep the lining in place.
My spray glue plugged up so I
had to use white glue, not as easy....
it was very messy messy messy!
OK Mary hope you approve of this suitcase :-}

Roses of course... You did such a fabulous job...I knew you could do
it, you are Miss Crafty that does ever thing:) Do another one that is not wicker and it probably will be easier with your glue. I am so proud of you Sweet Friend, you tried something new...Love, Me:)

Wow - I love your basket! I'm in the process now of "re-doing" an old suitcase and your basket re-do has given me inspiration! I'm ripping the lining out of this old suitcase and "attempting" to line it with either fabric or an old cutter quilt top!

Mary,
Fabulous job on the suitcase. I don't know if I would have the time and patience that goes with doing a project like that. But it sure has paid off and it looks GREAT!
I LOVE the roses on the fabric.....so pretty.
We have an old "Steamer trunk" that needs re-done and then it will be BEAUTIFUL....wish you lived closer and I would PAY you to do it. HA!

I think you did a great job. I have one I keep all my shipping materials in. I think I am going to try to line it now. Yours turned out so pretty!

Mary, love the fabric. Ya'll are going to get me back to crafting with all the beautiful things ya'll are making. My sons friend is bringing me loads of fabric samples in 2 weeks and I can't wait to get them. His aunt wraps them like packages with red organza that are big enough to use. Hope you are doing well and no more snow--even though the pics are beautiful---like white cotton candy. Love Ya, Pat

Love your suitcase Mary. I have 3 of those wicker ones -- I found them at different garage sales over the years.
