~It's cold..no heat in my cottage~

Above are 2 welcomed friends this morning..
a small 6" by 8" electric heater & a large mug of HOT tea..
I sit with them in my studio, the warmest room in my cottage
You see I have no heat..Brrrr it's cold!
the furnace went out last night.
Outside it's 3 degrees feels like -16 here in Ohio
so I wait for the Heating co. to open & hope they can fix it today.
I will also thank God I have a credit card to pay the repair bill.
Until then I'll enjoy my 2 warm friends..
Sorry to complain when so many have had no power for days!
My prayers are with them all.
Hugs and stay warm my sweet friends!
~Mary~

Oh Mary, I understand that, honey!! In our old home we ran out of oil on 2 occasions - both of them a friday night! It got pretty cold in that huge house also, but they did come on saturday to fill the tank. We now have a brand new home with gas heat! So I'm pulling for ya, chickee!!!!
Smooches and Merry Christmas,
Connie

Mary, sending you a great big warm hug until the power company arrives! I feel so bad for you, it is bitterly cold here in New York as well! I will say a prayer that your furnace is repaired ASAP! Merry Christmas!

Hi, I am new to blogging but very inspired by all of the beautiful blogs I have been viewing. Any suggestions about starting a blog would be greatly appreciated. Our temperature here in WV was negative 23 with the wind chill and 2 without! I am sending WARM wished to everyone.

Mary, my craft room is like that. I have a small heater that I use and it's actually warmer than the rest of the house. I pray God gets the utilities back on for every one who had the ice storms. Our temp right now is freezing, but nothing compared to what the north is feeling. Hope they get it repaired soon. Many Blessings for a wonderful Christmas. Love and Hugs, Pat

I hope your heat is back on, Mary! IT was SO SO SO cold here too last night....we had terrible high winds and we live in the woods. I was worried a tree was going to fall on our house.

Your picture makes it look cozy, at least!

Mary Dear:
Burrr!!!
I am complaining about the outside temperature being 41 degrees at 6:00 am this morning : ) It is a balmy 68 now in the San Fernando Valley. The sun is shining so it is okay. I think I will make a cup of coffee so I send a toast you : )

I was without heat twice when I had my mobile home. Both times Dan was out of town and I think it was January both times too. One was during a blizzard. Glad you have heat now, but oh boy, 62 would be too cold for me.
