Honey, you've done more on a limited budget than some of us with lots of money to throw around. It's adorable and fantastic and most of all homey, sugar!

Hi Mary, your redo is so wonderful..
I am a budget minded person myself. I have to be! God is always so good to leave some great finds in my path that I can afford. My home decor isn't near as nice and lovely as yours but I am so thankful for what I have been blessed to find to make my humble house a home. What a blessing in your new sofa,it's beautiful and I bet so very comfortable.
Thanks for sharing your lovely living room with us. I enjoyed visiting very much...

Blessings,Shelley

I love to decorate on a budget. I think even if I was 'rich' I still would! I just like the feel that it brings to a home. My home is so much more interesting than most of my friends(not to be mean)who buy everything new that has no character. When people come into our home they can't help but look around because there are so many interesting things. I couldn't pick one thing I love about yours because it is all so pretty...like my hubby says 'it all has a story'
PS. Yesterday I bought 2 chairs for my sitting room for $50/pr from a junktique store. better than spending hundreds new at the furniture store and putting it on a credit card!

You certainly have added the "WOW Factor" to your Livingroom. There are wealthy people in this world who would pay a fortune for someone to achieve this look!!!!
I absolutely could live there...
You are such an inspiration!!
Love,
Marilyn

Mary,
Your new Look for your living room is wonderful. - Not that your old look was any too shabby, either. I too am a very frugal shopper. I shopped thrift shops before they were even cool. I remember buying all my accessories for my collage dorm from the Goodwill and Salvation Army and then coming home to wood putty , sand and paint them so they all looked like they matched when I finally headed off the face my first year away from home in college. But enough about me.
Your room makeover Is a 10 in my book.
Have a good day.
Hugs,
Penny

What a cozy place! I have been on the lookout for some wicker pieces but so far, no luck...I think Californians like to hold on to their wicker! Thanks for the tour and love your new couch!
