I love having a washer & dryer in my studio!
Hello sweet blogging friends!
Sorry I've not been around much.
I'm thrilled about my new washer & dryer
so I thought I'd blog about them.
They've been a few months in the making.
When my old dryer (in my basement) died.
I decided to make a dream of mine come true
of having a washer & dryer on my first floor.
So I thought what better place for them but in my studio..
I'm here so much anyway.
With the help of a good friend my dream came true!
Yippee!
The old cabinet had to me removed
and a smaller one put in for the set to fit.
We used my old sink & fixtures
because I liked them & kept the cost down.
Only thing left for me to do is paint the above cabinets.
How are all you doing?
I'm doing so so but that's another post.....
Have a lovely day!

Hola, que hermosa remodelación.
Besos desde Venezuela.
Dear mary:
They look like they have been there all along. You and your friend certainly did a lot of work; I know it is worth it. In your studio and not having to walk down to the basement with laundry and bring it up again.
That is great for you!!!
Hugs

They look great, although I have to smile, why do we get so excited over washers and dryers!!! I was the same when I got my new set....wanted to redo the whole room!!! Love the white, of course, how lovely!!!
Hugs,

Why do we women get so excited about a new washer and dryer--but we do!!!!!! I was very excited to get a new set earlier this year and couldn't wait to do laundry-how crazy is that????? Your space with the new washer and dryer and the darling cupboards and sink looks so nice! Your blog banner and background are both just beautiful!
how wonderful!you made a washer and dryer look so cute!! and now , no more running up and down the stairs!
looks beautiful:)
Mary, How Wonderful!! At Mothers house we had to go out side to her little storage room. It was cold in the winter! I later worried about her slipping on the concrete. Bee has to go out off her front porch to a little space :( So I know how excited you are:)!!!! The space looks so nice, you and friend did a great job...Love and Hugs, Me:)
Hi, Mary, oh how I know you are loving your new laundry station! I miss you! Hope all is well.

Mary, they look fantastic. I would do that also, but it would really cost for plumbing to move them, so they are stuck where they are. I love how they look and recycling is a big deal for me. If you can reuse it, do it or repurpose it for something else. I got my new stove, but it's still not connected, but I think Al will do it this week. If not, I'm calling my brother. Hope you feel better soon. Love, hugs, and prayes, Pat
Good for you! IT really is nice!! Have a grand day! Cathy
Now, THAT'S handy! Great idea...

Hi, Mary..you probably don't remember me...bj from Sweet Nothings. It has been awhile since I came by. Blogland got so big so quick and I spend half my time lost.
I remember, back in about 07, you are the one that told us about Amy's cancer. She has fought it so long and I see today that her chemo didn't work. I saw your comment and decided to visit.
I LOVE your new place for the new w/d. It looks fabulous.
Come by to see me when you have time.
love, bj
Mary, I love the way you have created this area ... it is bright & decorated so nicely.
Happy Christmas days
