I'm sure Nikki is with you, and I'm sorry she is not with you here on earth. I found your blog via Susan Branch. It's lovely. :-) It's interesting that I landed here where you have your beautiful daughters photo. I will be 40 on January 28th and I've been thinking about my life, rather the second half of my life. How important it is to make it count because not everyone gets that chance. I've been a late bloomer for most of my life and I feel like I'm embarking on that second life. I don't know why I'm saying all this, but your lovely post to your daughter touched me. I'm going to bring some flowers in from my garden today and think of you and think of Nikki, and know that we are all part of this world and we should all make everyday count.

Hello
I trust your doing well, or hope it to be so. I big hug to you dear heart. I feel I am coming up for air it has been so very long that I have hibernated awaiting a new spring in my life. It was a time of rest and healing.
May you know the joy of loving and being loved each moment of each and every day.

I came across this tender sentiment to your beloved daughter. I just can't find the words to say how much it touched my heart. My best friend just lost her teenage son and I see her loss and pain. I was just looking for Christmas stocking ideas on Pinterest and came to you. So glad I did. Best Wishes, Kristi
