This has been a very simple, quiet summer (so far) at my cottage.

One I've really enjoyed.

It's been a summer of a cook outs, spending time with my grand kids,

& chatting with my very kind neighbors..

...A lazy simple Summer...

I hope you all are enjoying your Summer as much as I am.

Blessings & hugs ~Mary~ :-}

Mary - Those of us who no longer have children at home really miss the things that kids do during the summer! Thanks for sharing!

You have a wonderful yard & it looks like a great place to relax.

Love your yard....it should be in Better Homes & Gardens. Your grandchildren are darling. I love Sam's mowhawk. Does his grandma?

Jerri, I'm LOL about you asking if I like Sam's mohwak.
Well, Sam and Isa go to a Catholic school with lots of rules.. they must wear uniforms, no make up or nail polish or jewelry, no outragouse hair cuts, no dyed hair. So when summer comes their wonderful Mom & Dad let's them have whatever hair they want. Sam wanted a mowhawk.. it's so not his sweet very quite personality but he loves it & I LOVE him (it's already growing out)....Isa got her hair dyed with pink strips. When it's back to school it's back to normal.

Hi Mary! I'm glad to see you are enjoying a relaxing summer with the grands--they are growing up! Belated happy 60th to you. I turned 59 in June, so you can chart the course for me ;-) I think you are looking absolutely MARVELOUS! Don't think differently. Your life is filled with family, you remain artistic and a beautiful seamstress, create lovely garden settings, and know how to love friends well.

Hugs to you,
Lallee

Look at how big the children are getting! Isn't it fun to watch their transformations from hair to clothing. They are so cute, Mary!

Your glider is fabulous as is your wonderful yard. I would be out there all the time. Wonderful!!
