~Samuel's basketball game~

Yesterday I attended my 7 year old grandson Samuel's basketball game.
He plays in an Upward Church league.
He's #3 in the dark blue
What a great program this is.
How I LOVE watching both Samuel & Isabella's games.
What a game this was, Sam made 6 baskets!! Yippee!
He did great and we had so much fun.

Your latest basketball post made me smile... both of my sons play basketball. My eldest four years in High School. Enjoy this time. It was just adorable to see all of those faces so focused on getting that ball!!! I remember those days when they could spend ten minutes in the key and no whislte was blown...a sweet time.

Hi Mary,

They all look so sweet!! I think that's the one thing that lets us down over here, we don't embrace sport as much as we should. Jackie x

Don't you just love the grandkids' games? When my kids played, they were playing against their friends, so I couldn't cheer too hard...but when my grandson plays against strangers...I'm the loudest!

Oh Mary, I hope that someday we will see Sam in the National leagues and I can say, I knew him through his grammy. Great shots. Aren't grandchildren fun. My gd is such a little ham and is growing in leaps and bounds. She is sure to be around 6 ft. tall. Love Ya, Pat

Aren't your grandson and the others just the cutest things? I hope their coaches emphasize the love of the game over winning.

Mary, after working with you yesterday and today on my banners, I came to your blog and started reading your earlier posts. I realized I have read your blog before. Not sure what the connection was then, but I just want to tell you that you are the sweetest, kindest lady ever, always thinking of your friends and giving them love even though you have gone through so many bad times yourselves. You are special.

Isabella: Check out my blog. I have a six year old grandson, Samuel, also! We never call him Sam, just Samuel. My friend calls him Schmoolie (I don't know if that's spelled correctly). She says it's a Jewish endearment for Samuel, although she's not Jewish. I like it though!!
