~My Grandson, the tree hugger~

At 6:35am this morning I get a phone call from my Grandson Samuel..
He says "Grammy please go get a newspaper" I say "OK sweetie, but why?"
He says " You'll see" and laughs.
So I walk to the corner gas station for a newspaper.
To my surprise I find the above photo of Sam (left) & his best friend.
Sam goes to a Catholic school and is in the second grade.
He told his Mama last night at bedtime.
"Mama we planted a tree for Earth Day, our picture will be in the paper".
Nothing makes me smile like my Grandchildren :-}
Sam is such a sweet and gentle child.
"Thank you God for Samuel & Isabella,
please watch over them and keep them safe"

AW that is so precious grammy!

Why is it that grandbabies can melt our hearts by just hearing their voice?

P.S. you should make a special frame for the artical for Sams room!

Mary, that is so adorable. You go and brag, because my Jacob just got back from Chicago from a field trip with his gifted classmates. His mom got to go also since she is an RN and she gave the meds to the ones who take them. Sorry I missed that beautiful hatbox. Will be thinking of you all week. I'll be back next week to pack for my trip---at least I will have a computer to use there. Love ya, Pat
