This is my first "Pink Saturday" ...I thought I'd join in on the fun.

Today I dedicate my "Pink Saturday" to my friend Deena who's fighting cancer..
the above banner is one I made a while back for her.
This sweet Gal has had a very hard time of it
through all her surgeries, chemo, radiation,
she's put on a smile and has shown us all such courage and love!
So too all who see this post PLEASE

Mary dear - I'm SO glad you have joined us at Beverly's Pink Saturday - it's so much fun and there are now such a lot of great participants each week. You'll make a lot of new friends from this list and I'm certain these gals all need new banners, ha! ha!
Beverly is a sweetheart and lives near me - we've yet to meet in person though because she has such a hectic job and little free time. I have however met her wonderful friend Jeanne (at Backyard Neighbor at the top of the P.Sat. list) when she's come down from the NC mountains a couple of times, and we've had great visits to SuzAnna's Antiques (Jeanne has been in the antiques business for many years) and of course enjoying lunch with some other local blog friends - Deborah at Pictures, Pots & Pens and Vanessa at Vanilla Lavender who's home in Brazil visiting her family for a month.
Thanks again for bringing our lovely Deena into the spotlight on your post as although her health is still so precarious, at least more gals will learn about her valiant battle and hopefully pray for her daily.
On future Sats. I know you will have fabulous to pink to share because it's all around your beautiful cottage! Peronally I'm almost running out because I've been doing it for months, BUT I usually end up digging up something to share!

Sorry I'm so late in posting my comments...work has taken me on a few travels as of late...but now that I am able, I certainly wanted to "visit".
Our cottage, The Painted Nest is not abundant in PINK (gasp, I know, LOL) nonetheless the fun continues, as I participated in this past Sat. Pink Posting... :)
