~What do I love about my COTTAGE/home?~

Karla is hosting a "What do I love about my house" party.. Stop by her blog & check it out.
What I love about my cottage is that it is comfortable. It's a place for me, my precious Grandchildren and family to hang out and just have fun. I love my cottage because I've been able to decorate it on my very slim budget. Most of my treasure were given to me from my Mother, Grandmother, or friends. Many treasures I've found at thrifts, flea markets, eBay, or things I've made. My cottage is not a huge fabulous palace but it's all I need. I keep things around me that I love. Most of these photos are recent, a few are not. I love changing my cottage around..I love the colors pink, & red, roses and anything old tattered, chippy, and old.. Hope you have enjoyed your visit to my cottage ~Mary~ :-}

Mary you are so wonderful and so sweet you know. I think your home is the warmest, prettiest and most cosy home i have seen in a long long time.Everything about it says "Take your shoes off and relax". I adore it to pieces.
You know what i think the best thing is about your home but??
When Isabella and Sam are in it with you :)

Luv You Bunches,

Mary, Your home is so lovely and inviting, reminds me of a bed & breakfast setting. I love love love the sofa, and everything else you have pictured. You have the touch to put it all together. I have a close friend who shops only at thrift shops and is able to make her apartment look like magazine photos...takes a good eye and some patience until one finds just the perfect thing to add to the mix. Thanks for sharing the photos. Also, saw the post below with Isabella's cute little crown, how darling is that!

Your house IS fabulous! It's obviously filled with love and oh so many creative touches. I love how you put those brackets on your outside window near the deck. The attic bedroom is amazing. It's all amazing, and you did it on a budget? Even more amazing!

Mary, thank you so much for the birthday wishes on my site. You know I love your home, it is so beautiful! I love that someone with a small home makes it so beautiful, most magazines only feature these huge homes..unrealistic, in my opinion..
Oh, and I need your address for something...please email me at lilcottageshoppe@comcast.net with your address please! :)

You may not be the Queen of Buckingham Palace Mary but you certainly are royal when it comes to your cottage! Absolutely beautiful - everything is stunning and you are so special too.

Someday I will have to knock at your door - hopefully you'll let me in - and you will show me around. That would be such fun.
A magazine definitely should do an article on your home Mary - it's so lovely, just like you.
Glad Isa had fun on her B'day.

Mary I love your house! I have looked at all your treasures many times. I especially love the little outdoor area your have created.

Mary,
It is so comforting....like a big soft hug.
I like to decorate with thrifty things, found things, hand-me-down things, etc. It is so much more personal than going to a store and buying everything from a display.
