~My smile is back :-} Thanks to Carole!~

Look what came in the mail for me today! Yippee!
The book Where Women Create
It's the book I've been wanting since 2006.
I even asked Santa for it, but he must have forgot.
Well Carole from a Bohemian Market had it sent to me..
Thanks so much Carole!
I can't wait to sit down with a cup of tea and check it out...
Can you see me smiling! Well I am :-}
Here's where I create.
Some things have changed since these photos.
My studio is in need of a clean up & de-cluttering.
Maybe this book will give me the push I need to get busy.
a few of my buttons

My smallest sewing machine..

My old chair, it broke a few weeks ago...
I have another now I need to make a slip cover for it...

My love seat is gone..
I gave it to a friend who needed it more then I did.

I painted this book shelf white & moved it into my living room
I have another in it's place.

The barkcloth pocket storage I made,
it comes in handy.

my sink.. great to have one in my studio.
Cupboards need to be painted white..
thats on my list of things to do
"friends" banner made by yet another of my sweet friends
Mary from the blog Crash n Smash..
Thanks again......Mary

I love it when you share pictures of your space - I absolutely LOVE your style. I remember when I first started reading your blog you had a lot of pictures of your cottage. Then when you accidentally deleted your blog, I was so sad because I used to just scroll through your posts to see your pictures. I'm glad your smile is back, maybe focusing on the flowers inside instead of the grayness outside will help!
Love, Pam

What a nice gift to receive! But it sounds like it was well-deserved! I can tell by your posts that you are always giving of yourself to other people, i.e. giving your loveseat to a friend who needed it more. You're a very sweet lady! And your space looks so cozy and nice! I hope you keep your smile!!!

Thank you for dropping by I thanked the Lord for allowing me to have you as my Soul Sistah from the heart!1. You are an encouragement and sweet friend. One day I hope to have a cozy place to create, you inspire me so!!

Wow what a great book. Might have to cheat and see if I can find a copy. I am in big need of some organizing and I think I may store extras in bins so I can decorate and have a space like yours---that might be the encouragement I need. I love seeing your studio and it is so beautiful just as you are Mary. Many Blessings to you. Love and Hugs, Pat

VERY cozy and cute work area you have there Mary.
Hey I just saw that book last week at Books-A-Million (one of my most favorite stores in Baton Rouge by the way) and I nearly bought it but bought some other magazines, a book, and an "Ireland Calendar" for my bathroom instead. HA!

Next time I go I will look inside of it further if you think it's worth purchasing.....let me know.
Do a little "review" for us if you will.
HA!
It's been dark and gloomy and rainy here all day.
Hope things are better up your way.
See ya!
Joyce

That really was something to smile about! I've been wanting that book too! Your studio should be in it! IT's FABULOUS! What a gorgeous wall of pictures AND the barkcloth hanging is WONDERFUL. I hope our snow melts slowly too! I have an idea, this year our yard will be a lake come Spring.

Oh Mary, I absolutely LOVE your room! I find it so inspiring and totally beautiful! You really should submit it to the new Where Women Create Magazine. I think it's definitely worthy of being featured. Gotta go wipe off the drool......
