~my Southern Belle pillowcase~

I love my Southern Belle pillowcases! I've finished embroidering one so far & am working on the other. I've been embroidering since my Grandmother taught me when I was about 9 years old.. Embroidering is very time consuming but rewarding..

Those are so lovely,I wish I could embroider! But I am afraid I am a bit of an instant gratification type person, and I would not have the patience hehe! Ah! maybe a machine that embroiders now I could do that! That is so lovely!

Oh, I love that pillow too! I love embroidery and Southern belles are my favorite! I made a commitment to teach my 14 year old daughter to embroider this summer. Better get on that!

Gorgeous job on the pillowcase! That bedroom really inspires me, especially the silhouettes! I'm trying to do a bridal silhouette for use at my daughter's wedding reception.

Oh my, these are the best ever!! They remind me of the little bedspreads my sisters had of *shoot, can't remember what they were called* - little appliqued girls holding umbrellas I think.

I love to embroider.
I collect vintage pillow slips from various thrifting places if they are in good shape and cheap!!

I want so much to come to this room you keep teasing me with and just sit or read or nap. It's perfect!!
